Textiles Work

In addition to my passion for comics, I love creating works of art out of textiles. I have been sewing since I was five years old, and recently took a textiles class to expand my skillset

Embroidery Pillow

This textile piece is an embroidered pillow . It was done on a cotton cloth with embroidery thread, and is filled with polyester. The dimensions are 13" by 10.5".

Potholder

This is a quilted potholder inspired by art deco styles and the Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. This piece is 9"x9" and made of cotton, thread, and fleece.

Dimple

This felted project is made of acrylic and wool. It is about 2"x2". The inspiration is from the character Dimple from Mob Psycho 100 by ONE.

Going Against the Current

This project is a paper piecing quilt. I was inspired by the fish from "The Chosen" directed by Dallas Jenkins. This piece is made of cotton, fleece, and thread.
